Welcome!
Welcome to the Ranger Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution!
We serve the communities of Portsmouth, Newcastle, Rye, Hampton, and Greenland, New Hampshire.
Organized on June 24, 1929, by Dr. Martha Isabel Boger-Shattuck, the Ranger Chapter is one of twenty-five chapters in the New Hampshire State Organization Daughters of the American Revolution.
The chapter is named for the ship Ranger. Launched in 1777 and captained by John Paul Jones, the Ranger was the first ship to fly the American flag in the history of the Navy.
The Ranger Chapter meets on the second Monday of the month. Meetings are not held in January, February, July, and August. Please use the link to the right to contact us for more information about attending a chapter meeting and joining DAR. We look forward to hearing from you!
